DigiTaxi is a European registered trademark which identifies a taxi booking app created in Naples in 2013 by a group of taxi users with the aim of improving the quality and efficiency of the taxi booking service.
In 2019, a group of young developers driven by the need to decongest urban centers with the increase in the use of taxis in order to improve the liveability of cities intend to enhance the DigiTaxi brand with the Pandora Taxi App project. Pandora Srl, a company operating in the production of software in the smart mobility sector.
The DigiTaxi platform composed of the DigiTaxi driver and DigiTaxi user apps has therefore been renewed in its technology and has extended its operations to other cities in Campania. The Apps appear modern and easy to use. The user allows you to both call a taxi immediately and book it up to seven days before pickup.
DigiTaxi operates mainly in Campania, in 2020 it was classified by the American magazine WIRED among the top seven Italian Taxi Apps. Its technology is equal to that of the major international competitors (Uber taxi, Free Now, Gettaxi).
